Being Out of Communication and Withholding

Somebody in my Team Management and Leadership Program once shared with me, “one of the worst things you can do to someone is withhold your truth,” or said another way, what is really going on with you. So is the case with being out of communication. Being out of communication is withholding communication from another human being. When this happens we make up stories to fill in the gaps of information. This is a natural process of the brain. The brain does not like incomplete information. So it fills in the pieces of the puzzle that are missing. Unfortunately, the brain fills in stuff from the past, and, usually from childhood. This many times creates pain and suffering for the person you are out of communication with. I just went through many phone calls and texts of people that have been out of communication with me. I realized that these incompletions were weighing me down in my life. I have no idea how many will respond. What I do know is that I will come to completion in my own way if they don’t contact me. I have been making up stories about past clients, friends, and new people I have expressed doing business with. It’s like clearing out the old to make way for the mew. Kinda like Feng Shuing our stories of past relationships. I request you all get complete and in communication with people you have been out of communication with or people that have been out of communication with you. You will feel lighter and free from the constraints from the past. And you will have released a withhold. All the best!

Gratitude,

Rusty
