SUMMARY:Juicy July Cuddle Party Saturday July 12\, 2pm
DESCRIPTION:Cuddle Party is a 3 1/2 hour experiential workshop for adults that focuses on communication\, boundary setting\, safe\,nurturing\, non-sexual touch. Participants (singles and couples) attend in pj’s.\, sweats or yoga clothes and after The Welcome Circle which explores our experiences with touch\, relationships\, going over the Rules of Cuddling\, creating a safe container\, we move into ‘freestyle cuddling’ which is spooning\, snuggling\, massage\, nuzzling….all with verbal consent. By the time you leave\, you are likely to be floating on an oxytocin high.\n\nIn the 8 years that I have been a certified facilitator\, I have seen relationships start\, others thrive and still more\, heal as a result of folks attending this powerful workshop.\n\nBesides being Certified Cuddle Party Facilitator #27\, I am a colorfully creative journalist\, dynamic motivational speaker\, interfaith minister\, licensed social worker and the author of The Bliss Mistress Guide To Transforming the Ordinary Into the Extraordinary. I estimate that I have cuddled thousands of people since I have facilitated at least 250 of these since 2006. My Cuddle Parties have been covered by the Philadelphia Inquirer\, CBS 3 News\, Fox 29 News\, Good Morning Yahoo! and Steven Colbert who gave it a 'wag of the finger'\, but hey\, any publicity is good publicity(: www.liveinjoy.org\n\nI love that it gives people the chance to experiment with speaking up about their needs\, knowing that they may receive a yes or no to their requests and that they are alright no matter what the answer.
