Relationship Transformation Tips

Relationship transformation does not mean that you will necessarily stay in relationship with someone whether it be your partner, friend, family member, etc. However, communicating with full responsibility, integrity, and generosity opens up the possibility of a new dialogue and experience. When one takes full responsibility for all of one’s relationships, it frees us up and eliminates blame and victimhood. Now the key here is to take responsibility and then choose at some point whether the relationship serves you or not. It’s sexy to practice responsibility from a powerful place of accepting people for who they are and who they’re not. People can not change people. We can model healthy communication and behavior which others may appreciate and want to learn for themselves. We can influence people by living our lives being touched, moved and inspired in life and being big people who are up to big things in the world. And, once again, we cannot change people. Change and transformation are voluntary. Forcing an outcome with someone will not work. The cool part about communicating that we are 100% responsible for all of our relationships are the gifts we unexpectedly receive from communicating in this way. Relationships will start opening up with less defensiveness, less blame, and more vulnerability and intimacy. So many times we get amazing reposes from this new way of communicating. Remember, we don’t know what is going on in their world until we get in their world. And when we’re in their world it shows we’re interested in what’s going on for them. So listen, ask questions, listen, ask questions, etc. Give up having to be right. Because with 7 billion views of the world all there really is is perception. Remember the saying: Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy, because you can’t have both! Choose…….
