Integrity, Part 2

So here’s the other piece with integrity. When we are frequently out of integrity with ourselves and others we training ourselves to not trust ourselves and others. How do you think that works in relationships? Huh? We don’t trust self, don’t trust the other, they don’t trust their self and they don’t trust us! Wow, what a stupendous combination for an extraordinary relationship, NOT! This is how deep integrity goes. It can undermine everything in our lives. It’s like saying to the universe I don’t care and respect myself and others. The the Universe Genie declares, your wish is my command. Just like that, our relationships all over become unworkable from an authentic or real level. It’s like sludge underneath all conversations and interactions. And we complain about our life and relationships not working. We need to clean up our own house first. Restore integrity with ourselves. Forgive ourselves. Be generous with ourselves. And be 100% responsible for our lack of integrity with ourselves. Trust will reappear when we honor our word with ourselves. Then and only then can we start to clean up our integrity with others. When we model keeping our word with ourselves it becomes organic to keep our word with others, and, coincidentally, our lives start working with freedom and ease. In the next blog I will speak about cleaning up our lack of integrity with others. For now, start with yourself.

Gratitude,

Rusty
